He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Hart (John) and Edith Pauline "Polly" Hart (Fry); his wife Cherri L. Hart (Phillips); and his siblings, Shirley Jean Hart and James Gary Hart.

He is survived by: his sons, Todd Hart (Lori) of Warsaw and Shawn Hart (Sonya) of Fresno; his grandchildren, Keith Hart, Paul Hart (Ashley), Samuel Hart (Kennedy), Lori Hart, Hugh Hart (Laura), Scott Hart and Keshia Hart; his great grandchildren, Aden, Bray and Holly Hart; his siblings, Larry Hart (Pat) of Hartville and Janice Pickett (Ronnie) of Indiana; and his pet Buddy.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Camp Warsaw Retreat Center (818 Main St, Warsaw, OH 43844).
