He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Miller, James Pelfrey Jr., Jason O. Pelfrey (Stacey) and Stacy Flaisman (Alan); his grandchildren, Michael Vaness, Brecklynn Whitman, Kasey Reigle, Chelsea Drake, Mason Drake, Justin Flaisman and Alyssa Glazier; his siblings, Richard Pelfrey (Judy) of Marshallville, Judie White of Wooster and Betty Sue Nickelson (Tom) of Wooster; and his pet Deacon. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home - Wooster (7067 Cleveland Rd, Wooster, OH 44691). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
