He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Thomas; his children, Mike Thomas (Debbie) of Centerville, Ohio, Mary Custenborder (Steve) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ann Goss of Zionsville, Indiana, Kelli Briggs of Centerville, Ohio and Pat Thomas (Sheree) of Northville, Michigan.; and his great grandchildren, Graham Stark, Dawson Stark, Reid Stark, Cole Stark, Mac Thobe, Hank Thobe, Emme Custenborder, Cooper Custenborder, Mary Scott Custenborder, Mary Ann Goss, Griffin Goss, Palmer Briggs, Scotty Combs and Briggs Pressel.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (4500 Ackerman Blvd, Kettering, OH 45429). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the David's Cemetery (4600 Mad River Rd, Dayton, OH 45429).
