He is survived by: his children, John Lee Nelson, III of Pedro, Deborah Lynn Delong (Mark) of Pedro and Phyllis Jane Nelson of Pedro; his grandchildren, Jared Howard (Mandy) of Pedro, Haley Matusiewicz (Kyle) of Ironton, Zoey Brooks of Pedro, Casey Dickess (Dustin), Allison Delong, McKinzie Long (Danny) and Jessica Delong (Devon); his sisters, Louise Osborne of Catlettsburg, KY, Claudia Conley (Mike) of Ashland, KY and Jenny Warnock of Catlettsburg, KY; and his sister-in-law Pearl Nelson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
