He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Veronica Mann; his daughters, Helen and Veronica; his parents, Sue Hampton and Jerry Hampton; his sister LeeAnn Hampton; his nephew Tucker Lee; his grandparents, Della and Dutch Smith; and his daughter Della Grace.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Snyder-Wesche-Hoening Funeral Home (830 Scott St, Napoleon, OH 43545). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
