As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Powell and Caroline Powell (Jackson); and his sister Susie Keegan. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Mehaffey (Kevin) of Grand Rapids, James Powell of Steubenville, Jackie Martsching (Jeff) of Caldwell, David Powell of Caldwell and Sheri Estrada. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
