With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Matthew Thomas of Waterville, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Gary Thomas; and his brother James Andrew Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Frances Thomas (Herr); his sisters, Jeannette Barney (Gene) of Whitehouse, LeAnna DiFeterici (Tony) of Grand Rapids and Martha Schone (James) of Gladstone; his siblings' children, Joshua Barney (Amanda), Jessica Schuette (Tom), Courtney Iwinski (Tyler), Kathryn Barndt (Justin), Taylor Debelak (Dylan), Joseph DiFeterici, Emma DiFeterici and Tia Schone; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zachary, Arya, Ava, Trevor, Maverick and Theodore.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home- Whitehouse Chapel (6603 Providence St, Whitehouse, OH 43571). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
