He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Sr. Johnston and Rosetta Johnston (Boorman); his wife Sandy; his sons, Matthew (Roxanne), Michael (Taylor) and Patrick (Anna); his grandchildren, Dominick, Natalie, Nathaniel, Madeline, Abigail and Norah; and his siblings, Jack, Tom Jr. and Linda Cross.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Xxiii Catholic Church (24250 N Dixie Hwy, Perrysburg, OH 43551). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Saint Rose Cemetery (11442 Avenue Rd, Perrysburg, OH 43551).
Charitable donations can be made in lieu of flowers in memory of Michael Allen Johnston Sr. to St. Emma's Monastery at 1001 Harvey Ave., Greensburg, PA., or to the St. John XXIII St Vincent de Paul Society.
