Robert Schmidt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Schmidt of Waterville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schmidt and Betty Joan Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Schmidt; his sons, Charles Schmidt (Vicki) and John Schmidt (Kirk); his brother William Schmidt (Anne); his grandchildren, Christopher (Emily), Joseph (Megan) and D. J.; his cousin Phil Davis; and his friend Lexie. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home - Witzler-Shank Chapel (222 E South Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH 43551). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Meigs Union Cemetery (620 W Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, OH 43551).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and Lutheran Church of the Master.
