With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Lee Engel Sr. of Wauseon, Ohio, who passed away on March 27, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Lee and Virginia Engel (Trask); his siblings, Norman Engel, Sr., Dolores Grycza and Geraldine Ashenfelter; and his son-in-law Randy Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Doris Engel (Parker); his children, Valerie Kinsman (Douglas), Judy Terry, Darrell Engel, Jr. and Thomas Engel; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Riha (Thomas), Gwendolyn Kinsman, Sarah Roberts (Keon), Stephanie Nagisetty (Yeshwant), Justin Terry (Thereasa), Amber Hickman (Nicholas), Aaron Terry, April Terry, Jeremiah Garza (Tiffany), Staci Whetro, Nathaniel Whetro, Cameron Mohr, Olivia Engel, Hank, Howard Engel (Velva) and Bill Engel (Angie). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; siblings.
