Loyal Briskey Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Loyal Briskey of Wauseon, Ohio. Loyal, born on March 10, 1949, passed away on October 16, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loyal Briskey to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Briskey and Kathryn Briskey (Nofziger); and his nephew Gideon Nofziger. He is survived by: his daughters, Jean Wagner (Lew), Joy Fruchey (Steve), Rachel Briskey and Megan Pursel (Ryan); his grandchildren, Elijah, Kaden, Malachi Wagner, Ian, Avery, Alec, Olivia Fruchey, Dallin Briskey (Kylee), Aiden Pursel, Leah Beltran, Jaxton and Lana Pursel; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn Briskey and Beau Alexander. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the True North Church (850 W Elm St, Wauseon, OH 43567). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at the Pettisville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Youth For Christ.
