He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bohnert and Georgia Bohnert; and his siblings, Wendell "Bud" Bohnert and Corlene "Corky" Taberner. He is survived by: his wife Judy Bohnert; his children, AmyJo Rouleau (Ron) and Dean Bohnert (Linda); and his grandchildren, Conner, Eric, Colin, Kevin and Reagan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made to Alzheimer's and Breast Cancer research.
