It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy R. Mattin of Wauseon, Ohio, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy R. Mattin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Young and Maude Young (Taylor); her husband James R. Mattin; her siblings, Bill, Marion, Royce, Thelma Beavers, Alice Russell and Ruby Balser; and also Eugene Young.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Mattin of Wauseon, Diane Edgar (Dan) of Kentwood, MI and Kevin Mattin (Dawn) of Swanton; her grandchildren, Joshua Edgar (Mindy) of Alto, MI, Jason Edgar (Jen) of Rockford, MI, Jessica Bernal of Wauseon and Corey Mattin of Swanton; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Liam, Dylan, Devon Edgar, Dawson Bernal and Beau Mattin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Chapel, St. Hwy (5825 OH-109, Delta, OH 43515). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barnes Funeral Chapel (5825 OH-109, Delta, OH 43515). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at the Wauseon Union Cemetery (15165 State Rte 2, Wauseon, OH 43567).
