She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Acevedo and Aurora Acevedo (Fuentes); her son John Cantú; and her siblings, Raquel Hernandez, Rosalinda Ayala and Able Acevedo.
She is survived by: her husband Guadalupe Cantú, Sr.; her sons, Guadalupe "Lupe" Cantú, Jr. (Michelle Cantu) and Robert Cantu (Jordan Perdue); her grandchildren, Lindsey Wishmeyer (Andrew), Lorenzo Mckeever (Amelia), Destini Casey (Brant), Julian Cantu (Magann), Christian Cantu, Cameron Cantu, Rhys Cantu and River Cantu; her great grandchildren, Atlas Blaze Cantu, Freyja Faye Cantu and Lorynn Rey Wishmeyer; her siblings, Ruben Acevedo, Esequiel Acevedo and Marisa Flores; and her pets, Sugar, Cinnamon, Maestro and Koby.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the True North Church (850 W Elm St, Wauseon, OH 43567). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
