He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert M. Conkel and Evelyn M. Conkel (Massar); his siblings, Gene Steven Conkel, Paul Delbert Conkel and Susan Lura Conkel; and his sister-in-law Teena Tuenge.
He is survived by: his brothers, Dana Harold Conkel and Neil Samuel Conkel (Bonita); and his brother-in-law Mark Miller.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690).
