He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Moats and Irma Moats (Pollard); and his sister Janet Roberts (David Roberts). He is survived by: his wife Paulette Moats; his daughters, Kandace Morris (Rick) and Deborah Savage (Jim); his grandchildren, Lynette, Nicholas and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Madisyn, MacKenzie, Elijah and Tucker; and his sisters, Ruth Emory (Charles) and Rita Au (Ralph).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
