With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Ishmal Carter of Waverly, Ohio, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carter and Nannie Carter (Montgomery); his grandchildren, Jordan David Carter and Jeremy Bryce Bender; and his sister Elaine Jamison.
He is survived by: his children, Lisha Beekman (Dustin) and Bobby Carter (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Chase Carter, Paige Smith (Gary), Morgan Waugh (Dalton) and Leah Van Hoy (AJ); his great grandchildren, Kinley Van Hoy, Isabelle Van Hoy, Bryston Van Hoy, Blain Beaver, Bentley Smith and Kash Smith; and his siblings, Ronnie Carter (Jeanine), Geraldine Rider (Jake) and Linda Cross (Randy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
