He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobbie Ray Whitley and Geneva Whitley (McGlone); and his sister Deloris Whitley. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Jo Whitley (Dalton); his daughter Andrea Lurie Whitley; his nephew Bobbie Smithson (Savannah); his great-niece Brylee Smithson; and his sister Esther Smithson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
