He is survived by: his wife Janet Bliss Young; his children, Mary Beth Sonner (Brad E.) of Hillsboro, Robert Young (Reba) of Wilmington and James Young (Sarah) of Kettering; his grandson Kieran Young of Kettering; his stepson Joshua Smith of Waverly; his grandchildren, Destiny Sonner, Gatlynn Sonner, Avrynne Sonner, David Young, Audrey Young, Kesliegh Young, Charli Young, Jasper Young, Madison Smith, Christian Smith, Lynkon Barrett and Colt Barrett; his siblings, Cheryl Collins (Dennis) of Hillsboro and Dennis Young of Hillsboro; and his daughter-in-law Anna Young of Martinsville, Ohio..
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home (5856 Beaver Pike, Beaver, OH 45613). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Southside Praise and Worship Center (621 S East St, Hillsboro, OH 45133).
