He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Richard Smith and Patricia Withers Ater of Waverly. He is survived by: his son Mason Mirras of Cumberland, Maryland; his sisters, Patty Rister of Chillicothe, Sonda Smith, Beverly Rawson (David) of Chillicothe and Angel Ater of Waverly; his stepfather Benjamin Ater; his siblings' children, Autumn (Dillon), LeAndra (Zachary), Devon and Christopher; his great-nephews, Tobias, Maxus, Adrielus, Kameron, Maxton and Brantley; and his great-niece Blair.
