He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Kay Newkirk of Waverly and James Clarence Newkirk of Waverly; his sons, Clayton and Josh Newkirk; his nieces and nephews, Zachary Sexton, Heather and Garret Blanton; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lane and Trace Blanton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and friends.
