He was predeceased by : his parents, John Sexton and Catherine Sexton (Hellman); and his son James E. Sexton, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Sheila Kay Sexton (Adams); his sons, Shane E. Sexton (Genia) and Shannon L. Sexton (Amy); his grandchildren, Hunter Sexton (Katelyn), Emily Watkins, Matthew Sexton, Breanna Sexton, Trent Sexton (Alyssa) and Trevor Sexton; his great grandchild Bentley Sexton; his sisters, Joyce Wisecup, Cathy Hammond and Pansy Ericson; his pet Scooter; and his friends, Robert Nixten and Terry Hatzo.
