She was predeceased by: her parents, John Akers Sr. and Betty Akers (Igo); and her brother Gregory Akers. She is survived by: her siblings, John Akers Jr. (Mona), Gary Akers (Kim), Kenny Akers, Christopher Akers and Karen Chaffins (Donald). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Caroline Cemetery.
