He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Howard (McVey); his sons, Michael Howard (Ann Wiseman) and Shane Howard (Erica); his grandchildren, Makayla, Trista, Olivia, Reese, Reid, Knox, Jackson, Maci, Urban, Piper and Levi; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Kye; and his siblings, Ossie Howard, Jr. (Bernice), John Howard (Kathy), Jim Howard (Vickie), Mark Howard (Lisa), Gary Howard, Jean Hilton, Darlene Adkins (Terry), Mamie Willis, Rebecca Snow, Teresa Buckler (Terry) and Carol Cooke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and loving friends and family.
