She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kemper and Mildred Wells Kemper; her husband Warren G. Swinning; her son Michael Swinning; her siblings, Mack Kemper, Don Kemper, Bob Kemper and Sue Dyke Bales; and her sister-in-law Cathy Kemper.
She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Swinning (Melissa) of Waverly, Todd Swinning (Loretta) of Waverly and Joey J. Swinning (Karea) of Waverly; her grandchildren, Tracy, Mark, Jennifer, Brandi, Bradley, Tiffany, Hilary and Seth; her brother Bill Kemper of Springfield; her sisters-in-law, Betty Kemper and Marilyn Kemper; and her friend Ella Pierce. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.
In all that she accomplished, one of her proudest achievements was her time spent donating countless hours to the Pike County Hospital, where she fulfilled numerous jobs and carried out a host of duties.
