He is survived by: his parents, Joseph B. Oakes and Karla Speck (Chesser); his daughter Brylee Oakes; his sisters, Misty Oakes (Robert Gillum) and Jessica Oakes (Tony Pummell); and his siblings' children, Chloe Gillum, Kylie Smith, Ava Pummell, Blake McCathren and Mason Pummell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
