He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond "Blue" Smith and Juanita Smith (Travis); his in-laws, Russell "Tony" and Mary Blankenship; and his family, John, Ethel, Paul, Nancy, David and Sheila.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy L. Smith (Blankenship); his daughters, Sarah Preston (Jeff) and Emily Rozsonits (Irving); his grandchildren, Hunter, Levi Thornsberry, Kaitlyn, Emma, Gracie Rozsonits and Katelin Preston; his great grandchild Daniel Thornsberry; his brother Joseph Smith (Mary); his pet Bandit; Jennifer Hess. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home (5856 Beaver Pike, Beaver, OH 45613). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at the Smith Hill Cemetery.
