He is survived by: his wife Darlene Tackett; his children, Eric Tackett and Holly Nance; his stepdaughters, Lydia Tackett Smith and Pollianna Tackett Thompson; and his siblings, Larry Tackett, Ronald Tackett, Delbert "Bo" Tackett, Edna Mustard, Maxine Partee, Trisha Bolen and Gail Helton. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
