We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 72, Leona Kay Tackett of Waverly, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Gilbert Lansing and Leona Eileen Lansing; her husband Johnny Wayne Tackett; her great grandchild Leo Rhoden; and her siblings, Gary Lansing and Carol Tomblin.
She is survived by: her children, Angie Lowman (John) and John Irvin (Sandy); her grandchildren, Jonathan Irvin (Mariah), Chrissy Fyffe (Steve), Jessica Rhoden (Sean), Tiffany Osborn (Eric) and Dakota Lowman (Brooklin); and her siblings, Larry Lansing, John Lansing (Lillie), Dean Lansing (Kathy), Roger Lansing and Vicki Gault (Robert). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Funeral Home (724 E Main St, Piketon, OH 45661). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
