We bid farewell to Monty Layne Daniels of Waverly, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 6, 2025 at the age of 65. Monty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Monty is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Monty's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Freda Daniels (Shepherd); and his in-laws, James and Patricia Rice. He is survived by: his father John Daniels; his wife Jacqueline Daniels (Rice); his stepsons, Byron Craig (Beth) and Garrett Craig (Brandy); and his siblings, Mark Daniels, Matt Daniels (Pam) and Marianne Lambert (Doug). He is also survived by four brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
