He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Varney and Barbara Ellen Varney (Large); and his siblings, Cindy Ellen Burdett (John), David Bryan Varney and Patrick Daniel Varney.
He is survived by: his wife Teri Varney (Weaver); and his brothers, Roger Thomas "Tommy" Varney (Jayne) and Timothy A. Varney (Susy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
