She was predeceased by: her parents, James Newman and Armina Newman (Newsome); her husband Samuel J. "Willie" Travis; her daughter Debbie Cantrell; her stepchildren, Orpha Copley, Sammy Gene Travis and James Travis; and her brother Bill Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Mina Moore (James), Larry Travis (Geraldine), Joyce Blanton (Mike) and Tonya Travis; her grandchildren, Larry Travis, Jr., Amanda Travis McCale, Summer Travis and Michael Blanton, Jr.; her stepgrandchildren, Joshua Spradlin, Nakoa Spradlin, John Moore, Matt Moore, Jessica Moore, Beverly Blakeman, Sheila Walburn, Sammy J. Travis, Ellen Frederick, Candy Garrett, Waylon Carnley and Rhonda Brady; and her pet Primrose. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
