It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ideson Johnson (Waverly, Ohio), who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William Ideson leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William Ideson may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Kenan Johnson; his children, Linda Melton and Mark Johnson; and his mother Louise. He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Sharon) and Paul (Margaret); and his brother Robert (Bob). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, as well as many other dear relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
