We announce the death of Donald J. Romaker of Wayne, Ohio, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 86. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred A. Romaker (Deusburg); his son Scott Alan Romaker; and his brothers, Jack, Gene and Jimmy Romaker.
He is survived by: his father Anthony P. Romaker; his wife Jackie Bruce (Malone); his daughters, Robin Bruning (Mike) and Jennifer Romaker; his stepdaughter Trina Rosales (Rudy); his grandchildren, Matthew Bruning (Emily), Kate Bruning, Mitchell Bruning, Andrew Rosales and Torie Rosales; and his great grandchildren, Mason and Marshall Bruning.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Cemetery (22792 Defiance Pike, Custar, OH 43511).
Memorial donations can be made to St. Louis Catholic Church.
