He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Firsdon (Van Vorhis); and his granddaughter Erika. He is survived by: his father Jack Firsdon; his wife Lori Firsdon (Sedlak); his children, Jessica Preston (Justin), Jacob Firsdon (Molly) and Joshua Firsdon; his grandchildren, Brody, Dexter, Aiden, Canaan, Tate and Maya; his sisters, Lori Firsdon, Amy Schroeder (Mike) and Kathi Iott (Brian); his niece Madison (Zach); and his nephews, Colin and Chase.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pemberville American Legion Hall (405 E Front St, Pemberville, OH 43450).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a foundation of your choice in honor of Doug.
