David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Junkins and Hazel Junkins (Inherst); and his daughter Laura Junkins. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Junkins (Swinehart); his daughters, Deborah Yerkey (Michael) and Tina Reiter; his stepson Les Weese; and his sister Marcia Porter (Jeff). He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home (266 N Main St, Magnolia, OH 44643). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sandy Valley Cemetery (462 W Lisbon St, Waynesburg, OH 44688).
