With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Currie (Waynesburg, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Currie; his parents, Kenneth Currie and Dorothy Currie; his sisters, Nancy Benedict and Beverly Tucci; his brother-in-law Glen Benedict; and his nephew Randy Benedict.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Laman (Pat), Mary Ann Miller (Doug) and Eric Currie (Marcy); his siblings-in-law, Billy Tucci, Nancy Reed and Beckie Reed; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
