He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard and Cicely Franz (Claude); and his siblings, Rita Anthony, Anthony Franz, Timothy Franz and Nicholas Franz.
He is survived by: his close friend Maria D. Manzano; his daughters, Kristen Reynolds (Cody) of Hudson, OH, Stacey of Winston-Salem, SC and Nicole; and his siblings, Lois Souder and Christopher Franz. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
