He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Evans and Hallie Evans; and his siblings, Gene, Johnny Evans, Jewel Lambdin and Louise Leech.

He is survived by : his wife Roberta "Pat"; his children, Mark Evans (Kellie Coates) and Leslie Evans-Ealy; his grandchildren, Jamie Norman (Kyle), Marrissa Hardyman (Josh), Chloe Ealy, Evan Ealy and Aaron Ealy; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Lane and Cambri; and his siblings, Bill Evans (Lela), Jack Evans (Robin), Mike Evans (Vicky), Opal Burns (Jack) and Sue Russell (Dale).
