He was predeceased by : his wife Sandy Brown; and his parents, Oscar Brown and Loach Schwendeman. He is survived by : his daughters, Janell Duley (Rob) and Jill Hodges (Ben); his grandchildren, Brandon Duley (Faith), Kyle Duley, Ellen Atout (Omayya), Connor Hodges (Rachel), Maxwell Hodges and John Ryan Hodges (Elyssa); his great grandchildren, Taylor Duley, Madison Duley, Layla Atout and Dany Atout; and his brother William Terry Brown (Joan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stratford Heights Church of God (4419 Nelson Rd, Middletown, OH 45042). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
