He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Wilson and Mickey York. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Harper and Rebecca Martin; his sister Debbie Shonta York; and his half-sister Janet Richardson. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial gifts be made to Mid-Ohio Food Collective or National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
