She is survived by: her husband John Sims; her daughter Angela O'Donnell (Groll); her grandchildren, Abigail O'Donnell (Colin McCloskey) and Daniel O'Donnell (Kaitlyn O'Donnell); her great grandchild Josephine McCloskey; her sister Carol Carnes (Cowman); and her siblings-in-law, Rudy Carnes, Carol Cowman, Vickie, Thomas McKinney, Daniel and Teresa McIntosh.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Janet's memory to the ALS, foundation, supporting continued research and awareness for ALS.
