Marlene leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marlene’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Marlene will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold "Dean" Sizemore; her parents, Richard Essig and Ellen Essig; and her brother Wayne Essig. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Libstorff (Dan); her grandchildren, Joshua and Laura; her sister Joy Pfleger (Bruce); and her brother-in-law Gerald Sizemore (Anne). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home (185 N Main St, Waynesville, OH 45068).
