He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Shuler and Alma Shuler (Hannafus); and his brothers, Francis Shuler, George Shuler and David Shuler.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Shuler (Hartman); his children, Debbie Stefan (Chris), Tim Shuler (Sharon), Jim Shuler (Debbie), Diana Malas (John) and Brian Shuler; his siblings, Mary Ann Fraley, Martha Cichon and Dick Shuler (Sally); his sister-in-law Monika Shuler; his grandchildren, Matt (Liz), Zach (Sydney), Jake, Maria Stefan, Nicole, Katelyn, Kylie, Krista, Kiran Shuler, Elizabeth, Abby and Josh Clary; and his great grandchildren, Lucy, Patrick, Margaret and John Stefan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
