He was predeceased by: his parents, George Boyle and Margery Patton Boyle; his son Kevin Boyle; and his siblings, Helen Boyle Fulmer and Robert Boyle.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Murray Boyle; his children, Carol Gustin (Dave) of Waynesville, Ellen Zink (Brent) of Hillsboro, Thomas Michael Boyle (Lara) of Michigan and Tom "Rudy" Rudisill (Pam) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Devin Boyle, Kristen Carter (Brent), Erin Miller (Jared), Kara Dame (Ryan), Nathan Zink (Susan), Adam Zink (Monica), Megan Rutledge (Nathan), Mary Beth McKenzie (Aaron), Bridgette Warner (Jared), Shelley Rudisill, Ryan Rudisill (Morgan), Brenna Rudisill and Patrick Rudisill (Courtney); Terri Boyle of Leesburg and Kevin Boyle. He is also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
