With sadness, we share the passing of Beverly June James of Wellington, Ohio. Beverly, born on March 31, 1941, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sheffield and Amy Sheffield; her brothers, Thomas and Charles Sheffield; and her sister-in-law Rosemarie Sheffield.
She is survived by: her husband Roger James; her children, Darrell James (Lisa) of Rotonda West, Dawn Hein (Anthony) of Wellington, Diane Kayle of Amherst, Dean (Deirdre) of Winterville, NC and Denise Smarr (Steven) of Lorain; her grandchildren, Tyler James (Amanda), Bryan James (Tabitha North), Makayla Evans (Adam), Mariah Kelly (Rodrigo), Marissa Watson (Kevin), Megan Kayle (Zach Blazer), Chelsea Kayle and Raymond Smarr; her great grandchildren, Zelda, Zoey, Kauê, Koa, Nolan and Finn; her brother Jim Sheffield (Lora); and her sister-in-law Geraldine Sheffield.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wellington Eagles # 2051 (631 S Main St, Wellington, OH 44090).
