He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Paine, and Frederick Paine, Sr.; his close friend Isabelle Robertston; his stepchildren, Debbie Maurer and Mike Curtiss; and the mother of his child Eilene.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Paine (Andrea) of Huntington; his stepsons, Jim Curtiss of Sullivan, Dan Curtiss and Bob Curtiss; his grandsons, Aidan Paine and Mason Paine; and his siblings, Hazel Paine of Willoughby, Harold Paine of Huntington and Patricia Kosakowski (Stan) of Brecksville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norton-Eastman Funeral Home (370 S Main St, Wellington, OH 44090). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
