She was predeceased by: her parents, John Solomon and Hazel Cloe Gearing (Fee); her husband Roy Wilson Nixon; and her siblings, Juanita Jenkins and Donald "Butch" Gearing.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Osborne of Wellston and Kesslar Alan Nixon of McArthur; her grandchildren, Mike Lawhead (Angie), Mark Lawhead (Adora), Mandy McClain, Vera McKenzie and Christopher Nixon (Crystal); and her sister Brenda Graves of Ray. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.
