He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester E. Ballenger and Mary M. Blanton Ballenger; his niece Kristi Wright Ware; his in-laws, Morine and Sherman Wright; his brother-in-law John Wright; and his brother Tim Ballenger.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Wright Ballenger of Wellston; his sons, John Mark Ballenger (Jill) of Gambier and David Ballenger (Jenn) of Newark, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Andrew (Andrea), Zachary, Brooklynn, Alliya and Emma; his great grandchildren, Ezra and Rowan; his sister Diann Coppock (Richard) of Cheswick, PA; and his sisters-in-law, Billie Wright of Vinton, Anita Johnson (Jim) of Wellston, Janet Jones (Mike) of Wellston, Melinda Ballenger of Chillicothe and Teresa Ballenger of Waverly. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 22 great-nieces and great-nephews.
