It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Allen of Wellston, Ohio, born in Fostoria, Ohio, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Lee Ostrander, Sr.; her siblings, Ronald Ostrander, Jr. and Ina; and her brothers-in-law, Elmer Yates and Tommy Clary.
She is survived by: her mother Lavon Joyce Chapman Shields; her children, Tommy Tackett (Cindy) and April Allen (Richard Elkins); her grandchildren, Tommy Tackett, Jr., Shevelle Tackett, Skylar McGuire, Sailem Elkins and Emma Elkins; her siblings, Harold Ostrander (Terry), Dave Ostrander, Jim Ostrander and Nancy Clary; and her former husband Danny Allen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
